Principal's Message

A message from our principal.

Shelley DiBacco Dear Prospective Students and Families,

Since 1965, St. Joan of Arc School, located in the Chagrin Valley, has nurtured the mind, body, and soul of kindergarten through eighth grade students. One constant throughout the years is the fact that each student matters and each student is what makes St. Joan of Arc School a great place to learn and to grow.

Our school is committed to education of the mind, formation of the heart, and learning to live out our religious values. We take pride in going the extra mile to develop each student. Our goal is for every child to reach his/her fullest spiritual, academic, and social potential. The talented teachers, support staff, parents, and community work together to provide a safe, nurturing environment that contributes to the success of each student.

Making the decision to send your child to a public or private school is a difficult one. The goal of a Catholic education is to help children mature into Christlike people. Our students are encouraged to recognize the presence of Christ in themselves and others. The religious formation, which has begun in your home, is continued in school. When you send your child to a Catholic school, your family becomes a part of a special community. Like your children, your family will be enriched by the opportunity to grow in faith.

Your investment in St. Joan of Arc School is ultimately an investment in your child. A Catholic education in an environment surrounded with a tradition of excellence is one of the greatest gifts you can provide your son or daughter. We are proud of the fact that the graduates of St. Joan of Arc School continue to excel in high school with above average grades and continue to maintain a strong sense of service to their church and their community.

A visit to St. Joan of Arc School is the best way to become acquainted with our faculty and students, service organizations, sports, and additional curricular and educational activities. I look forward to meeting with you to learn more about your family’s educational needs and to discuss the distinct advantages of St. Joan of Arc School’s program.

Yours in education,

Shelley DiBacco
