Every year the new in coming class of kindergartens get paired up with an eight grader. Together the two classes work together on many things, such as gingerbread houses, sitting together at mass, sight word bingo and scavenger hunts. The eighth graders learn patience as they assist their buddies in reading. The eighth graders also love creating a storybook for each of their buddies each year.
