Power of the Pen is a state wide program, encouraging 7th and 8th grade writers in Ohio to write creatively, with tournaments held each Spring. This is an extracurricular program at SJA, meeting weekly. Our team of 15-20 students have competed annually for over 10 years. We have been represented by students at district competitions, and at the advanced regional and state competitions.
