Seventh Grade
Seventh Grade is finishing chapter 2 which included
order of operations, powers, exponents, divisibility rules and a new
shorter method of finding a GCF for multiple numbers. We also reviewed
simplifying fractions and converting them to decimals.
Next we will cover chapter 3 which will improve on
our methods of finding a LCM, review all our operations with fractions
and develop our ability to use the distributive property appropriately.
We should conclude the first quarter with chapter 4.
In chapter four we will study patterns, tables, scatter plots, and the
coordinate plane. We will also add integers to our number system. When
we are finished with this chapter we should be proficient at adding,
subtracting signed numbers and solving one step equations involving
adding and subtraction.
