Philosophy of Education |
| My philosophy of education is simple; learning should be interesting and fun. I went into teaching because I wanted to give back to students, what was once given to me. When teaching I incorporate the following beliefs: teach with passion, show you truly care, motivate and inspire the students, and have fun while doing all the rest of these things. Teaching with passion lets students know how much you want to help them achieve their academic goals. My passion for teaching comes through in my classroom. I am energetic, compassionate, and intense while I am teaching. My methods may not always be traditional, but keeping the students attention will help to keep them focused on what we are learning. Showing students you care about them as individuals created an atmosphere in the classroom that helps all students to reach the goals they have set for themselves. My students know I care about them as students and people. I invest a lot of time and energy into my studentŐs futures; I expect them to do the same. My students and I have great repore, that only comes from mutual respect, cooperation and considerate for one another. For students to thrive in the classroom, they need to be motivated and inspired to want to reach their full potential. Each and every student has promise and intellect. The teacher just needs to be able to find it and bring it to the surface so everyone, especial the student can see and reach his or her full potential. That is what I do with each one of my students, I help them to work to their full potential, so they can all reach their goals and be successful in school and in life. Learning should be fun; it is as simple as that. When something is fun, students want to learn. I try to incorporate as many interesting ways to learn the content area as I possibly can. I use the Internet along with the smart board to introduce and reinforce new material to students. I also use interaction with games and activities at least twice a week in my classroom to keep the students interested and focused. My philosophy for education is simple, give students an environment that is filled with enthusiastic teachers, who show they truly care for students, that motivate and inspire and have fun doing, I will show you students who are not only successful in the classroom, but will be successful throughout their entire lives. This is the goal I strive for each and everyday. |
