The students are asked to take their research a step further by interpreting an essential question that requires a higher level of thinking. Each question has been listed with each topic.
Project Requirements:
Partners will produce and present a three-dimensional model.
The answer to the essential question will be presented in report format. On the day of presentation, the students may dress in costume to enhance their presentation.
Students will be assessed for accuracy, depth of information and creativity. Although class time will be allotted for work, some research may need to be completed at home. Students must be prepared with materials to work in school every day we have Social Studies.
Evaluation:
Your model will be evaluated according to the following Rubric. It
assumes that your model is turned in on time. A model turned in without
an index card will result in a zero in the Spelling and Grammar
categories.
Your percentage can be determined by adding your scores for each level
and dividing by three. Then divide that number by 20 and multiply the
result
by 100.
