At the end of this project the class will have the information needed to compare and contrast the dynasties, and uncover any historical patterns that may exist. They will be able to describe and compare the basic beliefs of Confucianism, Legalism, and Daoism. A time line can be forged showing the development of such structures as the Great Wall and the Grand Canal as well as the great innovations and cultural advancements. We will fully appreciate what is meant by the phrase,'the world's longest, continuous running civilization'! |
