Your book report will be a five-paragraph essay about a book that you have read this quarter. Please be sure to have given your title to Mrs. Horvath.
The book report should be typed, double-spaced, default settings. It should contain the following information:
1. Introduction – Title, author, setting, genre
2. Main Character – Describe the type of person this character is and why you indentify with this character.
3. Plot/Resolution – In this paragraph, tell the plot of the story (the problem the main character is facing) and how it is resolved.
4. Theme – Explain the types of lessons you may have learned about friendship, courage, conflict, new situations, etc.
5. Opinion – State why you did or did not like this book. Would you read more books by the same author? If you like this author, compare this book to others written by the same author. Would you recommend this book?
