Your grade will be based on the information in your science notebook and a project you will complete that shows all you have learned. Here are the grading rubrics for both.
I. Science Notebook Grade
25 - Neatly written;
follows webquest task instructions; all answers are
correct; no spelling or punctuation errors.
24 - Neatly
written; follows webquest task instructions; one incorrect
answer; one misspelled word.
23 - Neatly
written; follows webquest task instructions; two incorrect
answers; two misspelled words.
22 - Neatly
written; follows webquest task instructions; three incorrect
answers; three misspelled words.
11 - Must
do incorrectly completed tasks again.
II. Weather Project
You will produce a booklet explaining all you have learned during this webquest. You will use 18x20 inch paper (provided by me) on which to complete your work. The following items must be included in your booklet:
1.
A cover with a title and illustration.
2.
A table of contents.
3.
One page each explaining the following:
a. the Water Cycle (include explanations of condensation,
evaporation, and precipitation).
b. types of clouds.
c. how clouds are formed.
d. climate.
Please include illustrations of clouds, cycles, and other interesting facts. Be creative and colorful!
This is how your booklet will be graded:
20 - Contains
all items listed above; neatly written; correct information;
illustrations on every page; creative use of color; no misspelled words.
19 - Contains
all items listed above; neatly written most of the time; correct
information; one page without illustration; uses color; one misspelled
word.
18 - Contains
all items listed above; obvious erasures; two pages without
illustrations; little color; two misspelled words.
17 - Assignment
must be done again.
