Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to fourth grade! I have wonderful things planned for yu in the coming year! We will be busy learning about our faith, polishing our writing skills, having fun learning math, learning about our great state Ohio, and reading amazing books. These are just a few of thr fun learning activities we'll begin next year.
To be better prepared in the fall, we are continuing the use of the Summer Solutions Math Program. Be sure to work on it regularly throughout the summer. Do not do it all at one time. it defeats the purpose of the assignment. Remember you are to return the completed book on the first day of school. This is required. It is not an option. ALSO be sure to study math facts.
This summer take some time to read. Enjoy some good books. Children who continue to read during the summer months sustain and expand their reading skills.
You are required to read the book A cricket in Time Square by George Seldon. When you are finished fill out the Book Report Form. (It must be completed in cursive. Printed work will not be accepted.)
You have also been given a Summer Reading List, and a Reading Log. Please keep track of the books you have read throughout the summer. We will share the books we have read when we all return in August.
Have a wonderful, relaxing, funfilled, and safe summer! God bless each of you. I look forward to a fantastic year!
Blessings and Peace,
Miss Elliott
