Introduction
The
2008 St. Joan
of Arc School Time Machine needs your help to travel back into time to
learn about the Presidents of the United States before
their history is lost. After the machine leaves Miss
Elliott's classroom, you will have three weeks in which to find out
interesting facts and information about a past U.S. President .
You will then create
a powerpoint on your President. You
must complete this mission in order to
ensure that our country's history will not be lost.
Search
the web (and use reference books) to
find the facts that St. Joan of Arc School needs to know about our U.S.
Presidents. You will need to complete the following
quests in order to return to the future. To do this you will need
to:
- Research the Presidentsof the United States of America.
- Pick one President you would like to know better.
- Report back to Miss Elliott and inform her of your decision
- Record information on your President using the ResearchPaper you have been given.
- Save pictures in your Picture File to use in your powerpoint. (.jpg /.gif)
- Be sure to document sources for Bibliography.
- When all research is completed, you will receive powerpoint instructions

a better knowledge of the Presidents from Ohio. You
will have also have learned a better sense of using the internet to
locate information and reproduce the information in a creative manner
