Behavior Plan
To promote productive behavior
and encourage students to take pride in making good choices
Class Behavior Plan
Students
who make GOOD choices will help our class add stones
to the classroom bucket. When the bucket is filled by the class,
extra recess or another special event will be given.
When the whole class makes GOOD choices, a stone will be placed in the classroom bucket.
How do we earn stones??
Make great choices!
Earn a compliment from others at St. Joan of Arc School!
Get "caught" doing something outstanding!
Signs of Good Character
The students, as a class, determine what creates good behavior using the following terms...
Responsibility
Citizenship
Trustworthy
Caring
Respect
Fairness
If a child is not showing good character, the teacher removes his nameplate,
indicating that a conversation between the teacher and student about behavior is necessary.
Once
a mutualy agreed upon behavior plan or restitution is discussed, the
nameplate is returned beside the character to be worked on.
Additional
disciplinary action will occur when students find themsleves meeting
the schoolwide requirements for a demerit or detention.
