| Style: In the Baroque
period, circa A.D. 1520- A.D. 1725 Biography: Francisco de
Zurbaran was born in 1598 and died in 1664. He worked from his home in Seville
for his life's entirety. He was called "a painter for kings and the
king of painters" by King Philip IV. Zurubaran never actually worked as a
court painter, or a painter for kings and nobles. |
