without realistic contact and conventional subject Biography: William
was born in June 11, 1912 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and died June 6,
1963
in New York. For a brief time William worked at making stained glass
windows
for churches. He learned and studied painting at the National
Academy of Design. He later taught at the New York University, the
Peoples Art College,
the Museum of Modern Art and the Hunter College. His art was later
featured
in many museums but a lot more once he died. Many of Williams
paintings
where inspired by the poetic works of Charles Baudelaire after his good
friend
introduced it to him. He is now very famous and his works are loved by
many
people. |
