Style:  Abstract, or a painting without realistic contact and conventional subject
 

Biography: William was born in June 11, 1912 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and died June 6, 1963 in New York. For a brief time William worked at making stained glass windows for churches. He  learned and studied painting at the National Academy of Design. He later taught at the New York University, the Peoples Art College, the Museum of Modern Art and the Hunter College. His art was later featured in many museums but a lot more once he died. Many of Williams  paintings where inspired by the poetic works of Charles Baudelaire after his good friend introduced it to him. He is now very famous and his works are loved by many people.

Style: Abstract

Biography:

Louis was born in 1912 and died in 1962.  He was born in Washington D.C. and attended Maryland Institute of Fine and Applied Arts in Baltimore.  Louis’s first few jobs consisted of helping paint the banners of local Baltimore public schools.  In the 1950’s, Louis moved back to Washington D.C. where he devoted himself to the New York School of Abstract Painters.  When Louis saw the works of Helen Frankenthaler he was inspired.  He began using a similar technique called abstract.
