VALUES
The quality of life in our community is greatly
enhanced by many programs and services provided by Catholics and
Catholic organizations. Because this information is not well
known, however, these good works are under appreciated. Her

~ Catholic schools educate close to 60,000
children each year.

largest school system in Ohio. The 150 Catholic elementary
and secondary schools employ more than 3,800 professional
staff.

the largest provider of health and human services in Northeast Ohio,
offering over 100 programs, including 12 Head Start centers, 2 child

health and human services provided each year ($90 to $169 million), and
the value of Catholic neighborhood presence ($132 to $454 million), all
add up to a total positive impact of $563 million to $1.1
